MAJOR UPDATE: A DISTURBING NEW DETAIL HAS EMERGED ABOUT THE EYES OF THE CHI-LDREN FROM OHIO’S “HOUSE OF HORR0RS”… AND IT IS LEAVING MANY PEOPLE DEEPLY SHA-KEN
Officials said they weren’t expecting to find so many children living in the home while they were executing the search warrant.

A disturbing new detail has emerged about the 16 “feral” children living in deplorable conditions at home in rural Ohio.
The children, aged 20 months to 18 years, were removed from the family’s home in Hamden, Ohio, on June 30. They were discovered regarding the children’s father, Gary Siders II, 36.
According to police, Siders had allegedly exposed himself to members of the public on four separate occasions in May. Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson said the children were packed into a single 12-foot-by-12-foot room “covered in bugs and squatting,” with a “distant look in their eyes.”
“They looked like almost feral animals,” Wilson said. “It was terrible.”
Siders and his wife, Elizabeth Siders, were revealed to be the biological parents of all of the children. The couple was arrested along with Siders’ parents, Christina Siders and Gary Siders Sr., and charged with 16 counts of child neglect.
Elizabeth Siders confirmed that she was the children’s mother, meaning she was giving birth nearly every year over the course of 18 years. She gave birth to her first child at 15, the same year she married an 18-year-old, Gary Siders II, in West Virginia.

The Siders’ home was in an extreme state of disrepair, according to police, with reports stating that officers almost fell through the severely rotted floor.
Wilson’s office said the children were in a severe state of neglect, which included being covered in insects and feces.

The children were quickly taken out of the home and transported to nearby hospitals, with some of them requiring advanced medical treatment.
Vinton County Sheriff Ryan Cain said in a news conference earlier this month that the oldest child couldn’t read or spell her own name.

“Most of our livestock was kept in better conditions than the children,” Cain said, calling the house a “disgusting scene.”
Neighbors and officials told the local ABC affiliate, WSYX, that they were unaware that any children were living in the home. “I pray they all get help — even the parents and grandparents,” Tonya Duho, who lives down the road from the home, told the outlet.

“They just need help, and the Lord is the only one that’s going to do that.”
All of the adults arrested have pleaded not guilty. A gag order has been imposed on several defendants as the investigation remains ongoing. Gary Siders II has also been charged with four misdemeanor counts of public indecency.
He had been scheduled for a pretrial conference on July 23, but the date has been moved to Aug. 13, according to court records.
